- This thesis delves into the analysis of characters alienated by their obsession with fame and power; by their intoxication with lust; by their greed for material wealth; by their decadent, ruthless, and cruel lifestyles; and by the distorted character types in Ho Anh Thai's works. Simultaneously, the thesis points out the causes of this type of character alienation, thereby warning people about the danger of alienation due to the current social environment.

- The thesis also points out the artistic techniques used by Ho Anh Thai when constructing alienated characters, especially postmodern techniques such as the art of blurring characters; the art of naming characters; a satirical tone; the art of constructing instinctive human beings; and the art of constructing deformed characters.

- Thesis analizes in depth of characters alienated/demotalized by the passion of fame and power; intoxicated by lust; greedy for material goods; lifestyle depraved, heartless, cruel and demoralized characters that forms in the works of Ho Anh Thai. The thesis also figures out causes of the alienation of these types of characters, thus warning people at risk of alienation/dehumanation due to the current social environment.

- The thesis also shows the art of counterpoint that Ho Anh Thai had used when building character alienation, especially art of post-modern counterpoint such as blurring of character; art of naming characters; tone of parody; art of building human instinct and art of building character with deformation.
