- Secondly: This thesis presents the policies and processes of the Son Tay Town Party Committee in directing the development of tourism economy from 2001 to 2010, from identifying tourism economic development as an economic sector to identifying sustainable tourism economic development as a key economic sector according to the guiding principles of the Party and the State.

- Thirdly: The thesis draws some conclusions about the achievements and limitations in the process of the Son Tay Town Party Committee leading the implementation of tourism economic development from 2001 to 2010.
