10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis presents the current situation of access to social security services of poor women in Thanh Hoa city, Thanh Hoa province. First of all, it is to identify basic social security services including: housing, clean water and environmental sanitation, health care, vocational training and job search, legal advice, social insurance.

Poor women in Thanh Hoa city, Thanh Hoa province have accessed social security services. Although the level of access and use varies for each service group, it has had certain impacts on the lives of poor women here. Most poor women in Thanh Hoa city have good access to service groups: housing, health care, environmental sanitation and clean water. These services have had strong impacts in helping poor women improve their living conditions, health and awareness. Social services on legal advice, vocational training support, job search and social insurance have not been implemented synchronously and have not had much impact on improving living conditions for poor women. Policy implementation at the grassroots level and women's awareness are fundamental factors affecting the level and impact of access to social security services for poor women.

The results of the project reflect the current situation and impact of access to basic social security services for poor women, thus it can serve as a basis for planning, implementing and executing more effective policies for poor women in Thanh Hoa city.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Poor women in Thanh Hoa city, Thanh Hoa province have approximately social security services, such as accommodation, health care, environmental hygiene, purity water. Although levels of proximity and using are different among each group of services, it has a considerable effects on their daily life. These services have strongly affected in helping poor women improve their living condition, health and perception. The social services such as legal advice, training support, job finding and social insurance haven't been implemented totally and not much impact on improving the living conditions for poor women. Developing and implementing policies at the local residential level and women's perception are factors which have basic impact to level and impact of approaching process to welfare services for poor women.

The results of the project reflect the real situation and the impact of the basic approaching process to basic welfare services to poor women, therefore, it can serve as a basis for the planning, deploying and implementing policy effectively for poor women in Thanh Hoa city.
