10. Summary of the thesis results:

- This thesis is a survey of the Xên Bản Xên Mường festival of the Thái people in Northwest Vietnam from a cultural and literary perspective. The research results are hoped to provide a comprehensive and vivid overview of the traditional festival of the Thái people, interwoven with literary elements expressed through stories and poems related to the figures worshipped in the festival.

- The thesis has collected, compiled, introduced, and described the Xên bản xên mường festival of the Thái people in the Northwest region in a relatively complete manner.

- Studying this topic has helped us better understand one of the characteristics of folk literature – its holistic nature: stories are often linked to festivals. It is both a literary phenomenon and a cultural phenomenon.

- The thesis is a study of Festival for Peace of Thai people in North West Vietnam from the perspective of culture and literature. The studying results of thesis hopefully bring out the general view and vivid imagination about traditional festival of Thai people together with literary factors which are expressed through the stories, poems relating to the characters who are worshiped during the festival.

- Thesis has completely collected, assembled, introduced and described the Festival for Peace of Thai people in North West Vietnam.

- Topic studying helps us to understand more clearly about one of characteristics of Folk Literature; that is syncretism: The told stories are usually related to the festival. They are both phenomena of literature and culture.
