- This thesis is based on the collection and analysis of relevant data and documents, comparing and contrasting the initial consonants and middle vowels of Sino-Vietnamese and Hakka dialects in a synchronic manner. Through this comparison and contrast, it identifies the corresponding rules for the initial consonants and middle vowels of Sino-Vietnamese and Hakka dialects in Mai Huyen.

This thesis on the basis of the collection and analysis of the evidence and related materials, comparing initial consonants and rhymes between Han Viet Dialect anh Hakka Dialect of Mei Xian from synchronic linguistics's point of view, through inference, find out the corresponding rules of initial consonants and rhymes between Han Viet Dialect and Hakka Dialect of Mei Xian.
