This thesis on the basis of the collection and analysis of the evidence and related materials, comparing initial consonants and rhymes between Han Viet Dialect anh Hakka Dialect of Mei Xian from synchronic linguistics's point of view, through inference, find out the corresponding rules of initial consonants and rhymes between Han Viet Dialect and Hakka Dialect of Mei Xian.

The research results of the thesis can be used as a reference materials in the study of Vietnamese phonogy history, Chinese phonogy history and Chinese dialectology.
