This thesis studies the current state of KIPOS software application at the Information and Library Center of the Open University, based on an analysis of the software's advantages and disadvantages when applied to library operations, and the factors affecting the application process. From this, it proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of KIPOS software application at the Center.

This thesis proposes a new solution for building electronic libraries.

This thesis opens up new research directions in the field of library software, especially KIPOS software; and research in other areas at the Information and Library Center of the Open University.

Since then, the thesis proposes some solutions to improve the efficiency application KIPOS software at the Center.
