Summary of the results of the thesis: Based on the theory of the public and the press public, the thesis studies the public of ethnic minorities, giving the characteristics and features of this public group, especially the Thai public group (Tuong Duong). The thesis also systematizes the guidelines, viewpoints and policies of our Party and State towards ethnic minorities. The thesis provides information on the appearance of the press for ethnic minorities in Vietnam in all forms. At the same time, it analyzes in depth the advantages and disadvantages from the journalistic perspective of one of the 18 newspapers and magazines dedicated to ethnic minorities according to Decision 975/QD-TTg - the newspaper 'Ethnicity and Development'. In particular, through practical surveys, investigating the needs, habits, and information reception ability of ethnic minorities. Based on their comments and assessments of publications dedicated to them, the thesis analyzes and explains to make recommendations to improve the quality of these publications. 11. Practical applicability: The thesis can be used as a reference for journalism students. Journalists, especially journalists in the field of journalism for ethnic minorities, can gain more understanding of their audience. From there, they can have methods and ways of propaganda that are suitable for the reception psychology of the ethnic minority public.
