Summary of the results of the thesis: - The thesis "Improving the quality of the Vietnam Customs Website" conducted research on the audience of the Customs website based on the theory of the media audience. Both main audiences of the Customs website, which are officials in the industry and enterprises participating in export and import activities, were considered on three aspects of socio-demographics, awareness status and habits, and preferences for receiving media products. The research results on the audience of the Customs website can be applied to the activities of this unit and help with future research. - The thesis also collected and analyzed accurate statistical data on the news system, articles, service information... on the Customs website (survey period from May 2004 to October 2009) to serve current and future research work. - Another important result of the thesis is to study, research and propose a suitable development model for the Customs website. That is the web portal model with current information built in parallel with the service sector. This model meets the requirements of disseminating Customs laws and is also consistent with the development direction of Vietnam Customs to become a public service provider that is friendly to people and businesses. 11. Practical applicability: The research results in the thesis are highly applicable, can be applied in practice, improving both the content and form of the Customs website and the way to organize news, articles, and service information to improve the quality of this website. 12. Summary of the findings of the thesis: - The thesis “Improving the Quality of the Official Website of Vietnam Customs” has conducted a research on the public of Customs' website, based on the theory of the public communication.
