Summary of the thesis results: - The thesis "Improving the Quality of the Vietnam Customs Website" conducted research on the audience of the Customs website based on media audience theory. Both main target audiences of the Customs website, namely officials in the industry and businesses involved in export and import activities, were considered from three perspectives: socio-demographics, current awareness, and habits and preferences for receiving media products. The research results on the audience of the Customs website can be applied to the unit's operations and will be helpful for future research. - The thesis also collected and analyzed accurate statistical data on the system of news articles, service information, etc., on the Customs website (survey period from May 2004 to October 2009) to serve current and future research. - Another important result of the thesis is the research and development of a suitable model for the Customs website. This is a web portal model with up-to-date information built in parallel with the service section. This model meets the requirements for disseminating customs laws and is consistent with the development direction of Vietnam Customs, which is to become a public service provider friendly to citizens and businesses. 11.
