To clarify the characteristics of news genre language on online newspapers, the author compared the news genre language on Vietnamnet and Vnexpress with some paper newspapers such as Tuoi Tre Thanh Pho Ho Chi Minh and Thanh Nien newspapers. The research results of the thesis are as follows: - Presenting theoretical issues on news genre language on online newspapers such as related concepts and terms, pointing out the characteristics of online newspaper language, the role of news genre on online newspapers and the significance of improving the quality of using this genre language. - Surveying the current status of news genre language on online newspapers Vietnamnet and Vnexpress, the author focused on studying the written language of news genre with three main elements: title, sapo and text. The characteristics of the language of news genres on electronic newspapers are informative, expressive, concise, youthful style, with high independence between the elements of title, sapos and text. However, news on electronic newspapers is also prone to language errors. - Based on the theoretical and practical issues studied, the author proposes a number of solutions to further improve the effectiveness of using news genre language on electronic newspapers. 10. Practical applicability: The research results of the topic are the basis for newspaper editorial offices, reporters, and editors of electronic newspapers to refer to, on that basis helping them make appropriate adjustments in the use of news genre language, in order to improve the effectiveness of information.
