Systematizing and developing the theoretical basis for attracting and motivating employees in the hotel industry, including proposing the concept of "The value chain attracts and motivates employees."This will be used for further research."
This study analyzes and evaluates the current state of employee attraction and motivation at three typical hotels: Saigon - Da Lat Hotel, Sammy Da Lat Hotel, and Ngoc Lan Hotel. Sociological research methods were used to survey employee opinions, and in-depth interviews were conducted to gather feedback from several hotel managers. The study identifies the strengths, weaknesses, and challenges in employee attraction and motivation at the surveyed hotels.
This study proposes several solutions and recommendations to improve the process of attracting and motivating employees at the hotels under study, and 4-star hotels in Da Lat in general.
11. Practical applications:
The research findings of this thesis will contribute to improving human resource development in tourism and hotel businesses, especially in attracting and motivating employees. This document serves as a reference for Saigon Hotel - Da Lat, Sammy Hotel Da Lat, Ngoc Lan Hotel, and other 4-star hotels in Da Lat to improve their efforts in attracting and motivating employees.

- Overviewing and developing basic theoretical issues on attracting and motivating employees in hospitality industry. A new concept “value chain of attracting and motivating employees in the hospitality” is proposed in the thesis.
- Analyzing, evaluating the concerning situation at 3 hotels: Saigon - Dalat Hotel, Sammy Dalat Hotel, Ngoc Lan Hotel as a case study. Database is collected by questionnaires and IDI methods. The strengths, weaknesses in the attraction and motivation at the studied books are shown.
- Some appropriate solutions and recommendations are putting forward in order to improve attracting and motivating employees at studied hotels and other 4-star hotels in Dalat as well.
