Systematize and develop theoretical basis on attracting and motivating employees in the hotel industry, including proposing the concept of "Value chain attracts and motivates employees" for future research.
Analyze and evaluate the current status of attracting and motivating employees at 3 typical hotels: Saigon - Dalat Hotel, Sammy Dalat Hotel and Ngoc Lan Hotel. Sociological survey method was used to survey employee opinions and in-depth interview method was used to collect opinions of some hotel managers. Point out the advantages, limitations and problems in attracting and motivating employees at the investigated hotels.
Propose some solutions and recommendations to improve the work of attracting and motivating employees at the research hotels in particular and 4-star hotels in Da Lat in general.
11. Practical application:
The research results of the thesis will contribute to improving human resource development activities in tourism and hotel enterprises, especially the issue of attracting and motivating employees. This is a reference document to help Saigon - Dalat Hotel, Sammy Dalat Hotel and Ngoc Lan Hotel as well as other 4-star hotels in Dalat to improve the work of attracting and motivating employees in particular.

- Overviewing and developing basic theoretical issues on attracting and motivating employees in hospitality industry. A new concept “value chain of attracting and motivating employees in the hospitality” is proposed in the thesis.
- Analyzing, evaluating the concerning situation at 3 hotels: Saigon - Dalat Hotel, Sammy Dalat Hotel, Ngoc Lan Hotel as a case study. Database is collected by questionnaires and IDI methods. The strengths, weaknesses in the attraction and motivation at the studied books are shown.
