Vietnamese Buddhism possesses unique characteristics such as national identity, secularism, humanism, and realism, increasingly demonstrating a profound influence on the local people in all aspects of life. Through many historical ups and downs, Buddhism has maintained its role, contributing to the foundation of human thought and morality throughout the country's development. Researching young Buddhists helps to identify the profile of this group. Beyond the typical characteristics of youth, young Buddhists stand out for their religious beliefs and the practice of Buddhist rituals. In particular, belief is a crucial factor influencing the career orientation and choices of young Buddhists, reflected in their views on what Buddhists should not do. Furthermore, socio-demographic characteristics such as gender, educational level, and self-identification as a Buddhist also have a certain influence on the career orientation and choices of young Buddhists. Accordingly, young Buddhists tend to desire employment in the public sector, although a significant percentage choose to engage in business activities (self-employment). Despite having jobs, many young Buddhists do not intend to commit to their work long-term. Furthermore, the most important criterion for job selection is relevance to their field of study; however, men prioritize this more than women, while women place greater emphasis on dynamism in their work. This analysis reveals how their socio-demographic characteristics and religious beliefs influence the career orientation and choices of young Buddhists, offering a fresh perspective on the scope of Buddhist influence on various groups and aspects of social life.

These results provide some reference information for religious managers and policymakers to develop educational plans and measures to further enhance religious faith among young Buddhists, helping them to have the right direction in their lives.

Buddhism in Vietnam brings its own characteristics as nationalistic, secular, humane and realistically shows the profound impact on indigenous people in all aspects of life. Through the vicissitudes of history, Buddhism still holds firm to its role, contributing to the moral foundation of human thought during the development of the country. Access to the study of young Buddhists helps identify this group's portrait; Besides the specifics of youngster, the Buddhist youths emerged with religious beliefs and Buddhist rituals practice. In particular, confidence has critical impact on the orientation and choice of job, expressed in their views of what Buddhists should not do. In addition, social and demographic features such as gender, educational level, self-validation Buddhist also have certain influence on the orientation and choice of youth Buddhists' job. formation, young Buddhists tend to desire to work in the State sector, but the proportion selected business activities (self-employment) is also very significant. Despite having job, many young Buddhists intend to have no long-term commitment to work in the future. Besides, the most important criteria for selecting job is to match the major. However, the males ratio chose this norm is larger than females', while females promote dynamism in job more. And then we can assess how the social and demographic characteristics and their religious beliefs affect the orientation and choice of youth Buddhists' job, as well as opening up a new perspective on the influence scope of Buddhism on many subjects and aspects of social life.

These results provide some reference information for managers, religiously motivated in order to have plans, educational measures, and continue to raise religious beliefs to young Buddhists, helping them with the proper mindset in their own jobs.
