10. Summary of thesis results:

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the satisfaction of international tourists in Nha Trang city. Based on theory and practical research, the research has explored additional factors affecting tourist satisfaction with five main components that strongly affect tourist satisfaction: Technical infrastructure of tourism, Environment, Tourism resources, Means of transportation, Food and beverage services, sightseeing, entertainment and shopping. From the research results, it is shown that the factors have a positive impact on satisfaction at different levels. In addition, the research results have been explained as follows:

Firstly, this study enriches the results of previous research on assessing tourist satisfaction in the tourism sector. Inheriting previous studies of the authors on satisfaction with destinations, the author also proposed a research model with 5 factors affecting the satisfaction of international tourists with tourism in Nha Trang.

Second, combining the author’s research results with his own practical observations and experiences. The author has proposed some recommendations based on the regression results to help improve the satisfaction of international tourists with Nha Trang tourism. In addition, the results can help tourism authorities focus on which issues first and provide accompanying solutions.

11. Practical application:

The study helps tourism businesses, hotels, service providers and government agencies understand the factors affecting international visitors’ satisfaction. From there, appropriate solutions and policies are proposed to promote tourism development in Nha Trang.

In addition, the topic is a reference for students, further researchers, and a basis for similar studies in other localities in Vietnam.

12. Further research directions:

Expanding the scope of research to other provinces and cities to increase the reliability of the research model. In addition, distributing survey forms to tourists will be carried out depending on specific cases and times so that the sample is comprehensive and the results are highly practical.

Expanding the research on loyalty or intention to return to develop more new variables and explain tourist satisfaction. This result is the basis for supplementing the use in subsequent studies on loyalty and intention to return to Nha Trang, from which there are appropriate advice and policies to help tourism organizations have appropriate assessments and planning of their development strategies.

In addition, the results can help travel agencies to focus on the issues first and provide solutions.

The research helps businesses, travel agencies, hotels, and services understand the factors that affect the satisfaction of international tourism. Therefore they can give some appropriate solutions and policies to promote tourism development in Nha Trang. In addition, the results of this study can help university students and other researchers have a better understanding on this subject matter and further research this topic in other locations.

12. Next research directions:

Extend the scope of research to other cities and provinces to increase the credibility of the research model. In addition, the distribution of surveys to visitors will be done according to different circumstances, the specific time to sample the overall and the results are highly realistic.

Extend the study of tourist satisfaction to improve future services to ensure that tourists are coming back to this destination. This result is the basis for further use in subsequent studies of loyalty and intention to return to Nha Trang, which provides advice and policy to help tourism organizations for development strategy.
