This thesis focuses on researching the current state of information and library products and services at the Economic Information Center of the Central Economic Committee. Through the study of the current situation and the results of a survey on information needs of officials, specialists, and employees at the Central Economic Committee, the author analyzes and evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of the existing information and library product and service system at the Economic Information Center. From this, the author identifies the causes of these strengths and weaknesses and proposes specific solutions to improve the quality and diversify information products and services, especially value-added information products, contributing significantly to the overall mission of the Central Economic Committee in researching, proposing, and advising on socio-economic policies and programs submitted to the Politburo and the Secretariat.

The thesis focuses on the current conditions of theinformation – library relatedspas and servicesat the Center for Economic Information of the Central Economic Commission. Byanalyzing the current contexts andassess thesurvey results of officers working in the Commission, the authorevaluates the pros and cons of the existing library information system, products and services, from which identifies the reasons behind those pros and cons and making relevant recommendations to improve and diversify the range of products and services provided to ensure higher value added to the completion and accomplishment of the missions and objectives of the Commission as an executive advisory agency in sociometric related issues for the Politburo and Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
