Identify and classify the systems of concise and detailed texts at the National Library, the Library of the Institute of Han Nom Studies, and the Institute of Social Sciences Information. Describe the evolution of these systems.
This study examines the phenomenon of "abbreviation"—a way of receiving classical Chinese Confucianism in Vietnam, and also a self-interpretation of Confucianism by Vietnamese Confucian scholars—in the case of Bui Huy Bich's *Essentials of the Principles of Confucianism*. It explores the forms of "abbreviation" in *Essentials of the Principles of Confucianism*, and the parts of *Complete Works of Confucianism* that are retained and omitted within *Essentials of the Principles of Confucianism*.
12. Practical applicability: The thesis contributes to the study of academic exchange, the exchange and reception of Confucian books and classics in the feudal period between Vietnam and China. Continuing previous studies, the thesis also contributes to the study of the personal perspective of the famous Confucian Bui Huy Bich on the case of Tinh ly dai toan in particular and on the "dai toan" book system in general.

The thesis identifies, categorizes document systems of the Extracted gist of Xing li da quan saved in National library of Vietnam, The library of the Institute of Hannom Studies, and the Institute of Social Sciences Information. Described the development of document systems.
The thesis studies the phenomenon of “extracted gist” of documents as a form of reception Chinese Confucianism Classics in Vietnam, and a way of self-interpretation on Chinese Confucianism Classics of Vietnamese Confucians in the case of Bui Huy Bich's the Extracted gist of Xing li da quan. Studied methods of extracting in the Extracted gist of Xing li da quan.
Practical applicability : This study has it's contributions on studying the exchange, reception of Confucianism classics and documents between Vietnam and China in the era of feudal. Following previous studies of Bui Huy Bich's “Extracted gist” document systems to reveal Bui Huy Bich's personal perception of “Da quan” document system in general and the case of “Xing li da quan” in particular.
