The topic "Traditional housing of Austronesian communities in Vietnam: Changes and directions for preservation" is based on scientific research and document analysis to clarify some aspects of the current status of changes in traditional housing of Austronesian ethnic groups in Vietnam under the impact of the market economy, the economic, cultural and social development of Austronesian ethnic groups as well as the implementation of ethnic policies of the Party and the State. After providing an overview of the changes in traditional housing, the thesis initially proposes directions and measures to preserve and protect traditional houses of Austronesian ethnic groups.
