The thesis "Traditional Housing of Austronesian Communities in Vietnam: Changes and Preservation Directions" is based on scientific research and document analysis to clarify some aspects of the current state of changes in traditional housing of Austronesian ethnic groups in Vietnam under the impact of the market economy, the economic, cultural, and social development of these ethnic groups, as well as the implementation of the Party and State's ethnic policies. After providing an overview of the changes in traditional housing, the thesis initially proposes directions and measures for preserving and protecting the traditional houses of Austronesian ethnic groups.
