First, the thesis provides an overview of the absurdity in philosophy and literature. From there, the author clarifies the process of the emergence of "absurdity" in Vietnamese literature as well as the emergence of the writer Ta Duy Anh.

Next, the thesis delves into the human condition in an absurd world through two novels by Ta Duy Anh: the exiled man, the skeptical man, the committed man, and the lonely man.

In the final section, the thesis clarifies the art of depicting the absurd in Ta Duy Anh's two novels: absurd time; absurd space; depiction of absent characters; and nuanced language and tone.

Thus, the thesis also contributes to affirming Ta Duy Anh's creative individuality and contributions to the literary renewal process. And from a certain perspective, the thesis also clarifies the issues of innovation in the novel genre in particular and contemporary literature in general.

In the final part, the thesis clarifies the description art of absurdity in the two novels written by Ta Duy Anh: absurd time; absurd space; absent character description; language, tone full of nuance.
