Based on survey and research of novelsThe Adventures of Huck FinnFrom the genre perspective (adventure novel), the thesis focuses on analyzing the adventure element in: Adventure space reflected through the eyes of the narrator (Huck); Time expressed through the plot and through the shifting viewpoint of the character; Characteristics of character building techniques in the adventure novel genre through the two main characters of the work, Huck Finn and Jim; Surveying the movement, development of personality psychology, and maturity of the character's personality, thereby pointing out the genre characteristics as well as Mark Twain's innovations.

Finally, analyze the meaning of Mark Twain's message, thoughts, and declaration about human nature, human rights, and the meaning of the desire for freedom.

Based on the study and research on the novel “The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn” with view from genre (adventurous novel), the thesis to focus on analyzing the adventurous factors in: Natural space/background as well as spaces of events through the eyes of story teller (Huckleberry); Time in events, time in plot and time in characters' movements; Characteristics of the way to create the characters in adventure novels through two main characters Huckleberry Finn and Jim; Study the changes and improvements in psychology, personality and dignity of the characters – then point out the characteristics of the genre and Mark Twain's innovations. And last but not least, the thesis will analyze the message, philosophy and declaration from Mark Twain about humans, human rights and the meaning of freedom desire.
