Based on surveys and research of novelsThe Adventures of Huck FinnFrom a genre perspective (adventure novel), this thesis focuses on analyzing the adventure element in: the adventure setting reflected through the eyes of the narrator (Huck); time as expressed through the plot and the shifting point of view of the characters; the characteristics of character development techniques in the adventure novel genre through the two main characters of the work, Huck Finn and Jim; and examining the psychological development and personal growth of the characters, thereby highlighting the genre's characteristics as well as Mark Twain's innovations.

Finally, we will analyze the meaning of Mark Twain's message, ideas, and manifestos regarding human nature, human rights, and the significance of the aspiration for freedom.

Based on the study and research on the novel “The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn” with view from genre (adventurous novel), the thesis to focus on analyzing the adventurous factors in: Natural space/background as well as spaces of events through the eyes of story teller (Huckleberry); Time in events, time in plot and time in characters' movements; Characteristics of the way to create the characters in adventure novels through two main characters Huckleberry Finn and Jim; Study the changes and improvements in psychology, personality and dignity of the characters – then point out the characteristics of the genre and Mark Twain's innovations. And last but not least, the thesis will analyze the message, philosophy and declaration from Mark Twain about humans, human rights and the meaning of freedom desire.
