10. Summary of thesis results:

The research results of the thesis show that the majority of workers in the informal sector in Tu Lien ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi city have the need to participate in voluntary social insurance. However, their participation in voluntary social insurance faces many difficulties. These difficulties are caused by many reasons such as low income, unstable employment, lack of information about voluntary social insurance, etc.

11. Practical applicability: The thesis proposes a number of solutions to increase the number of workers in the informal sector participating in voluntary social insurance.
