First,This study analyzes and clarifies the theoretical basis for promoting democracy at the commune level, and the characteristics of promoting democracy at the commune level in the construction of the socialist rule of law state in Vietnam.

SecondThis study assesses the current state of practicing and promoting democracy at the commune level in our country over the past years, including both successes and limitations, shortcomings, and the causes of this situation.

Third isProposing and explaining directions and solutions to ensure the continued promotion of democracy at the commune level in building a socialist rule of law state.

* The thesis has achieved the following new results:

- Contributing to the supplementation and development of theoretical issues on promoting democracy at the commune level, the relationship between promoting democracy at the commune level and building a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam; clarifying the characteristics of promoting democracy at the commune level in building a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam.

- To assess the current situation, the causes of successes, and the limitations of promoting democracy at the commune level in our country over the past years.

- To propose and analyze feasible directions and solutions to ensure the continued promotion of democracy at the commune level in the construction of the socialist rule of law state in Vietnam.

With the results obtained, this thesis can be used as a reference material for studying, researching, and teaching the subject.The fundamental principles of Marxism-LeninismWithin the scope of relevant content, the research results of this thesis can also be used by relevant state agencies from the central to local levels (communes, wards, towns) as scientific arguments and reference materials to serve in developing specific solutions and measures to ensure the continued promotion of democracy at the commune level, meeting the requirements of building a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam.

This thesis could be further researched and developed in specific, detailed scientific terms to become the topic of a doctoral dissertation in philosophy.
