10. Summary of thesis results:
The main purpose of the topic "Developing religious tourism in Bac Lieu province" is to assess the current status of tourism development at typical religious sites in the province, thereby recommending a number of solutions to overcome limitations and create conditions to promote the development of religious tourism in Bac Lieu province. The research results will contribute to orienting the exploitation of tourism resources, creating a driving force to promote Bac Lieu to become one of the key areas for religious tourism in the Mekong Delta. The thesis results include 4 main parts:
Firstly, build a comprehensive scale to evaluate religious tourism resources in Bac Lieu province based on interviews with 100 people inside and outside Bac Lieu province of different ages.
Second, apply a comprehensive scale to evaluate the level of favorable conditions for exploiting tourism resources at religious sites in Bac Lieu province. The results show that Quan Am Phat Dai and Tac Say Church are the two most prominent religious sites that can promote tourism development.
Third, assess the current status of tourism development at Quan Am Phat Dai and Tac Say Church, identify the advantages and disadvantages in developing religious tourism in Bac Lieu province at present based on interviews with 200 tourists at the site.
Fourth, through the evaluation results, the author proposes solutions to overcome existing limitations and makes recommendations to improve and promote the development of religious tourism in Bac Lieu province.
11. Practical application:
The research results provide local authorities, state tourism management agencies, tourism businesses, tourism workers and local people with the current status of religious tourism development in the province to have directions for improvement and reasonable investment to contribute to promoting the development of religious tourism in particular and tourism in Bac Lieu province in general. In addition, the research results also provide a system of standards for evaluating the criterion of "attractiveness" in the overall scale of cultural resource assessment that can be applied to evaluate religious sites in and outside the locality.
12. Further research directions:
Firstly, select other research sites with large sample sizes to assess the potential for resource exploitation and the current status of tourism development at typical religious sites in other localities or regions.
Second, expand the research direction on the relationship between ordinary tourists and religious tourists.

10. Summary of the results of the thesis:
The purpose of the study “Developing religious tourism in Bac Lieu” is to assess the development of tourism in some typical religious places in Bac Lieu province to offer solutions to solve difficulties and promote the development of religious tourism in Bac Lieu province. Research results will contribute to the orientation of the exploitation of religious tourism resource and foster Bac Lieu province to become one of the core areas of the religious tourism in the Mekong Delta. The results of the study consist of 4 main parts as below:
First, the author builds the synthetic scale to assess religious tourism resources in Bac Lieu province on the basis of interviewing 100 people living in Bac Lieu and another province.
Second, the author uses the method of evaluation thanks to synthetic scale to assess some religious places in Bac Lieu province. The results show that Quan Am Phat Dai and Tac Say Church are the most famous religious areas in Bac Lieu province which can help develop tourism.
Third, the author accesses the development of tourism in Quan Am Phat Dai and Tac Say Church to determine advantages and disadvantages of the development of religious tourism in Bac Lieu on the basis of interviewing 200 tourists visiting Quan Am Phat Dai and Tac Say church.
Final, through the results, the author offers some solutions to solve the current difficulties and give some recommendations to improve and impulse the development of religious tourism in Bac Lieu province.
11. Practice applicability:
Particularly, the research results provide local authorities, state authorities in tourism, tour operators, tourism workers and local people with the development of religious tourism in Bac Lieu province at the present to have improving directions and reasonable investments to impulse the development of religious tourism not only in Quan Am Phat Dai and Tac Say church but also in the entire Bac Lieu province.
12. Recommendation for further research:
First, select other research sites of larger sample size so as to access the tourism resource exploitation and the current development of religious tourism in another province or other areas.
Second, widing specializes research direction about the relation between normal tourists and religious tourists.
