10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- A rich and useful body of historical data has been collected and systematized, contributing to a better understanding of a historical issue that has received little attention and remains unanswered, with no comprehensive research work yet addressing the subject matter of this dissertation.
- A fairly detailed reconstruction and presentation of the history of the Scouting movement and the organization and activities of the Vietnam Scout Association from its founding to 1954 has been achieved.
- Based on an analysis of Scouting law, Scouting organizations, methods, and especially specific Scouting activities, the thesis has identified the characteristics and nature of the Scouting movement in Vietnam.
- The thesis assessed the role and contributions of Scouts and the Vietnam Scout Association in educating patriotism, resourcefulness, agility, and readiness to perform all assigned tasks well, most clearly demonstrated in their participation in the August Revolution of 1945 and the resistance war against France (1946-1954).

- The thesis has collected and systematized a large amount of historical information useful for gaining a perception of a historical issue that has not been paid much attention and has gone unanswered. There has not had a completed research on the research content of the thesis.
- The thesis has specifically described and presented history of the Scout movement and organization and operation of Vietnamese Scout Association from its establishment to 1954.
- On the basis of analyzing Scout law, Scout organization, methods and especially specific Scout activities, the thesis has shown the characteristics and nature of the Scout movementin Vietnam.
- The thesis has assessed the role and contribution of Vietnamese Boy Scouts and Vietnamese Scout Association in patriotism education, resourcefulness, agility and willingness to fulfill all assignments well, which is clearly shown through participation in the August Revolution in 1945 and the resistance war against thebirthdayColonialists (1946-1954).
