This thesis has contributed to clarifying some basic theoretical issues about reading culture, such as defining the concept of reading culture and the factors influencing it; researching the current state of reading culture and offering observations on the reading culture of students at the University of Commerce. Based on theoretical research and practical surveys, the thesis has proposed several feasible solutions to develop reading culture for students at the University of Commerce, such as: innovating higher education methods, strengthening and improving the quality of information resources, developing various types of library information products and services, and enhancing the capacity and quality of library information staff, etc.

This thesis provides theoretical and practical solutions to develop a reading culture among students of the University of Commerce, contributing to improving the quality of training and scientific research at the university.
