10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis has clarified the factors influencing Russia-China cooperation in the defense and security fields from 2012 to 2020. Specifically, it has summarized and clearly identified the main changes in policy under Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump towards China and Russia. Accordingly, during the period 2012-2020, Russia and China resolved obstacles in bilateral relations, promoted cooperation in all areas, especially in the defense sector, contributing to fostering strategic trust between the two countries and allowing them to increasingly coordinate closely on regional and international issues.
The thesis pointed out that, in the context of the US changing its strategy, increasing pressure and containment of Russia and China in order to maintain its role as the sole superpower, defense cooperation between China and Russia continues to develop and takes on some new characteristics. In addition to Russia agreeing to sell China the most modern weapons systems, the two countries have promoted cooperation in other areas such as: high-level delegation exchanges, the formation of close cooperation mechanisms between military branches; strengthening cooperation in joint weapons research and development, as well as increasing the frequency of joint military exercises…
Defense cooperation between China and Russia has become a crucial factor in promoting the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries. This helps both sides not only achieve their own interests and enhance their national standing, but also actively contribute to the development and security of the Asia-Pacific region. In particular, this relationship plays a vital role in balancing power centers and promoting the trend of global multipolarity.
In conclusion, the thesis states that, due to existing obstacles, Russia and China will find it difficult to form a military alliance in the near future, but cooperation in the field of defense between the two countries will continue to be promoted by their leaders, creating a counterweight to counter challenges from the United States. Therefore, Russia-China cooperation in the field of defense will continue to have significant impacts on the development of both countries, as well as on the region and the world.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
My thesis has shown out those factors that affect China-Russia cooperation on defense and security matters from 2012 to 2020. My thesis has generalized and clearly identified major changes in the United State's Russia policy under former President Barack Obama's and President Donal Trump's administration. According to this, from 2012 to 2020, Russia and China have worked out the differences in their bilateral relations and promoted cooperation in all fields. This is especially true in the area of defense cooperation, which contributes to promoting strategic trust between the two countries and furthers their effort in cooperation on regional and international issues.
My thesis has clarified, as the United States changed its strategy to increase pressure and restraint on Russia and China in order to maintain its position as the sole superpower nation in the world, the defense relationship between China and Russia continues to foster and develop a couple of new characteristics. Most noticeably, in addition to the fact that Russia agreed to sell to China its most advanced weapons systems, the two countries have expanded cooperation to other areas such as exchanging high-level delegations, forming close cooperation mechanisms between all branches of their respective armies; promoting joint research and development of weapons as well as increasing the frequency of joint military exercises...
Defense cooperation between China and Russia has played an important role in promoting the strategic partnership between the two countries. It does not only help both countries achieve their national interests and enhance their nation's positions on the world stage, but also develop and ensure the security in the Asia - Pacific region. Furthermore, this tight-knit relationship also helps preserve the balance of power and promote a multipolar world.
My thesis has concluded, the Sino-Russia relation still faces many obstacles, making it difficult for the two countries to form a military alliance in the near future. However, the defense relationship between the two countries will continue to be enhanced by leaders of both nations in order to overcome challenges and threats from the US As a result, Sino-Russian defense relationship will continue to play a major role in the development of not only the two countries, but also the entire region and the world.
