The thesis has conducted a survey and comparison of legends and festivals of Dau Pagoda - Thuan Thanh - Bac Ninh.

With fieldwork, ethnological and folklore investigations, the thesis contributes to the collection and supplementation of practical sources related to the legend and festival of Dau Pagoda - Thuan Thanh - Bac Ninh.

The thesis also contributes to affirming the effectiveness of the current research direction of Folklore: Interdisciplinary synthesis, combining both surveying available documents and fieldwork, exploiting the treasure of folk legends associated with the festival environment. This is one of the new research directions of Folklore in the current period.
