10. Summary of thesis results:
First: The research results clarify sociological theories on religion and immigration such as: functional theory, exchange theory, collective theory and migration theory.
Second, the study has contributed theories and analyses on the issue of beliefs and religious practices of Catholic immigrants through comparison with local people from a scientific perspective.
Third, in terms of practice, the research results help describe the current situation of ritual practice and factors affecting the ritual practice of immigrant Catholics in the locality of immigration in general and Hanoi city in particular (considering the location of Co Nhue church, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi). In which we can see the reasons for immigration, the difficulties and obstacles they have to overcome as well as the positive things they bring to the local people here. At the same time, the results of the topic contribute to enriching the practical basis to help researchers on religious immigration as well as policy makers, economic, social and religious managers have a more authentic view, from which they can come up with more effective policies and management measures and open up for new research in the future.
Open up new research directions on the beliefs and ritual practices of Catholic immigrants in particular and of religions in general, and the factors affecting the ritual practices of Catholic immigrants in Co Nhue Parish.
11. Practical application:
Help researchers on religious immigration as well as policy makers, economic, social and religious managers have a more authentic view, from which they can come up with more effective policies and management measures and open up for new research in the future.
12. Further research directions:
First, we can continue to study the level of integration of immigrants into their new living environment, with the people and religious activities in the place they arrive.
Second, we can continue to study the level of contribution in terms of parish service capacity and material contributions to parish construction and development as well as other charitable contributions to contribute to cooperation for social development.
