This thesis aims to survey, research, and evaluate the impacts of the social network Facebook on media culture in Vietnam, thereby identifying both positive and negative impacts; analyzing the causes of these positive and negative impacts; and proposing some solutions to enhance the positive impacts and minimize the negative impacts of the social network Facebook on media culture in Vietnam.
11. Practical applications:
Based on the data obtained from the survey and the recommendations and solutions proposed, the research results of this thesis can serve as a reference for media and press agencies, contributing to guiding social media in accordance with the criteria of Vietnamese media culture.

Topic: The impacts of social networking on media culture
The thesis aims to examine, study and evaluate the impacts of social networking on media culture within Vietnam, from which concludes both positive and negative influences. It also analyzes the reasons behind the above influences. Outcomes of the study propose a number of solutions in order to promote the positive impacts as well as minimize the negative impacts of social networking on Vietnamese media culture.
12. Practical applicability, if any: The data collected from empirical study and recommendations, solutions are proposed, results of the study as references are to support media organizations and the press to orient the social networking according to the criteria of media culture of Vietnam.
