Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis is a survey of Nguyen Khoa Diem's poetry from a cultural perspective. The research results of the thesis hope to bring a more general and complete view of Nguyen Khoa Diem's poetry, from which we can see the exploration, innovation, movement and development of Nguyen Khoa Diem's poetry bearing the cultural nuances of a region. We do not have much ambition to give new interpretations different from the opinions of previous researchers, but only apply existing achievements to give specific initial assessments in a new direction. Researching literature from a cultural perspective is a new approach that helps us understand more about the artistic values of the work. The research results of the thesis contribute to affirming a new and promising direction of literary research, which is from the perspective of culture - literature, the exchange, interaction and mutual influence to see thoroughly from many dimensions and aspects. Nguyen Khoa Diem's poetry was conceived in the dreamy and traditional land of Hue. That land has nurtured the poetic soul and provided endless inspiration for Nguyen Khoa Diem's poetic creations. The poet's emotions, thoughts, and struggles for the most ordinary things in daily life are expressed through a unique way of thinking, feeling, and a layer of language, images, and structures. Reading his poems, we encounter the profound beauty of the soul of the people of Hue, as well as the cultural beauty of a Vietnamese countryside through the breath of lục bát, ngu ngôn and especially the skillful free rhythm that bypasses the rules. The poet's love for his homeland and country, his emotions, thoughts, philosophies, and contemplations in life and love are expressed through a way of thinking, feeling, and a layer of language, images, and structures. Nguyen Khoa Diem has created in his poems a unique system of images, which have become cultural symbols of the ancient capital of Hue, such as the image of the Perfume River, the garden, the road, and the fire. The means of conveying this technique is a layer of language that is not elaborate but is refined and capable of expressing many complex levels of emotions of the poet. The flexible use of words and the ability to apply language in poetry have helped Nguyen Khoa Diem achieve success with a language system imbued with the color of Hue culture and the depth of the spiritual world and human inner feelings. In terms of tone, Nguyen Khoa Diem's poetry is a sweet voice but has a hard core inside, whispering but penetrating deep into people's hearts, warm to convey faith and hope, optimism, and lift people up from the hardships and busyness of everyday life. Summary of the findings of the thesis: Nguyen Khoa Diem is a very famous poet in the modern Vietnamese literature. The poems of Nguyen Khoa Diem are interesting and attactive, especially they are cultivating Hue's cultural character influence. Foreign land, Khat street, Ngoi house has delicious lua am and Coi lang are the most successful colections of poems. So, we studied these words to find out his style which is expressed in content and methods of art. By using theory of synthetic analysis to combine manipulations such as comparing, statisticaling, quatifying, interdisciplinary…, in this composition, we present the content in three chapters. In the first, sketchily, we concentrate introducing the specific characteristics of Hue culture, the connection between culture and literature, the life and the achievements of Nguyen Khoa Diem. A numbers of works which Nguyen Khoa Diem wrote are quite famous throughout half a centery. In a word, the achievements of Nguyen Khoa Diem contributed in development of the modern Vietnamese literature. In the second chapter, we do concentrate research and explain the cultural inspirations in Dat ngoai o, Mat duong khat ngoong, Ngoi house has delicious lua am, Coi lang. In doing this, firstly we assert that Hoang Cam is poet of his homland - Hue. The Hue cultural character influences on his style, concomitantly it has been the endless inspirations for Nguyen Khoa Diem. Writing homeland, Hoang Cam revealed his pride, respectability and gratitude for Hue, where he was born and grown up. He has many poems about the enthusiasm of youth in Hue. He described traditional merrymakings, rejoycings and the fight for independence which took place in Hue, … He made Hue become immoral in life and in poetry. As well as writing about the homeland, but Nguyen Khoa Diem writes about his confidence, philosophy of his life… In the last chapter, we present our work about surrealistic style in Dat ngoai o, Mat duong khat rong, Ngoi house delicious lua am, Coi lang.. We first present the Hue culture is shown in poetical images such as the Huong river, the garden, the road and the fire. These are the cutural symbols which play important in Nguyen Khoa Diem poetry. On the other hands, we study on language in the poems of Dat ngoai o, Mat duong khat rong, Ngoi house has delicious lua am, Coi lang. His poetry language is chosen from popular language and is combined by many methods, so they're very effective and meaningful… As a result, we can come to the following conclusion: Nguyen Khoa Diem is a talented poet in the modern Vietnamese literature. His poetry combines cleverly tradition and modernization, especially they are cultivating Hue's cultural character influence.
