The students have collected information, documents, studies, reports, statistical data, surveys, to collect necessary data for the thesis. Conduct research, filter data, conduct in-depth interviews and collect qualitative data from the opinions of stakeholders with the research problem. From there, clarify and analyze the reality of material and spiritual life of women after divorce (Research in Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City), from which there are assessments, comparisons and comments on the material life and spiritual life of women after divorce in Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City.

Based on the facts obtained from the research process, the thesis has also initially proposed some recommendations and basic solutions to reduce divorce. Or with divorce being the right choice for a failed marriage, there must be policies and programs to further promote the effectiveness of job creation, income increase, and spiritual life improvement of women after divorce.

Conclusion: Material and spiritual life of women after divorce. When a marriage breaks down, it is a painful loss from both sides. But in reality, women suffer many times more. Most of them will raise or adopt children, so they have to be both father and mother. They have to endure economic pressure, psychological and emotional disadvantages and work performance. Regarding material life after divorce

Housing: Gender inequality still occurs in every family. Even in the family of the mother, women are not respected. The patriarchal cultural ideology of male superiority and female inferiority still exists. After marriage, they move to the husband's house to take care of the husband's family and support the husband's parents. They are not divided into assets or are divided into small amounts. In cases where assets and housing are divided, or in families with only one child (all daughters) or only one child, the girl can easily have real estate and other assets left by the family. If not, she must work very hard to buy property in her own name. Men inherit from their parents. When divorced, the person who leaves the house is usually the woman. Returning to the family home is difficult, building or buying a new house is even more difficult for women who do not have a job or have an unstable job. After divorce, they often choose to return to their parents' house to start a new life. Parents are once again a support for women after divorce to stabilize their material and mental health.

Other assets after divorce: very few women are divided assets after divorce. Women who are divided assets after divorce are mostly highly educated and knowledgeable. And divorce is not sudden. They learn well about asset division with lawyers before divorce to ensure maximum material to start a new life or raise children after divorce.

On women's spiritual life after divorce:

From the first 1-3 years after divorce, women need time to rebalance their mental life after divorce. The shocks to material life affect their mental life. From difficulties in housing conditions to raising healthy children who study well also cause mental pressure. But it is also through adoption that women feel secure and comfortable because they can be with their children, and they can experience and see their children's future together.

Pressure on relationships with the family, husband's family after divorce. Must choose how to behave to remain intact. Regarding work, there are also certain prejudices about divorce. And the mental impact also leads to an impact on work performance. Difficulties in work, income after divorce have been reduced because with the development of urbanization, there are more job opportunities, easier income.

The issue of remarriage is pointed out in two main cases: remarrying the ex-husband or marrying a new person. The rate of women who do not remarry their ex-husband is very high, accounting for 14/20 in-depth interviews. But among them, they still maintain a relationship with their ex-husband so that their children will have both parents in the future. And they still have sex with their ex-husband. 7/20 cases said they will not marry after divorce. Women who said they will marry after divorce, with the previous reason for divorce being the husband being gay, the woman herself having an affair, divorce because she has no children (infertile husband) or not having children. Women after divorce want to marry a foreign man, or have a new family after divorce. They fall into the category of young people who divorce, do not adopt children or have good finances. The number of women who do not marry after divorce is due to psychological barriers, worrying about their own future and the future of their children.

Recommendations: Promote propaganda activities on pre-marital and family marriage counseling, avoid cases of remarriage leading to divorce. Raise awareness and understanding of young people about love, marriage, family; improve the quality of family marriage counseling services at all levels as well as the service attitude of staff; build and deploy more types of family counseling centers based on each type of subject; widely implement policies that can improve the quality of life and spirit of women after divorce.
