In the study area, female patients had quite good health after a period of treatment, the disease progressed better than when they first registered for health monitoring at the outpatient clinic, had good treatment compliance, and received support from relatives during the treatment process.

- With the current facilities and human resources, the outpatient clinic has now provided some health care services in ARV treatment for HIV-infected women. HIV/AIDS policies and programs also create conditions for them to have early access to ARV treatment.

- Women on ARV treatment still face a number of factors that affect their access to health care, especially at health facilities other than outpatient clinics: economic instability, low income, and stigma from themselves and the community regarding ARV treatment.
