10. Summary of thesis results:
Approaching from the institutional theory proposed by Douglass C. North and the system theory proposed by Nobert Winner (1948) and Bertalanffy Lv (1969), the thesis conducts a survey and evaluation of the management and control of geographical indications in Vietnam, thereby indicating that the effectiveness of the implementation of the GI protection system in general and the control of geographical indications in Vietnam depends not only on the legal framework but also on many economic, cultural, social and political factors. Based on the study of the models of management and control of geographical indications of the European Union, the thesis proposes appropriate solutions to implement the geographical indication control system in Vietnam and proposes a number of recommendations for policy making to further improve the management of geographical indications in Vietnam.
11. Practical application:
Proposals on policies for management and control of geographical indications not only improve the effectiveness of geographical indication protection enforcement but also help increase the value of Vietnamese geographical indication products, meeting the requirements of the international market during integration.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Based on Institution theory of Douglass C.North and System theory of Nobert Winner (1948) and Bertalanffy Lv (1969), the thesis carried out a survey of Vietnamese geographical indication management and control activities, evaluating the effect of Vietnamese geographical indication management and control. Therefore, the thesis explores the effect of enforcement of geographical indication protected and control in Vietnam does not only depend on legal framework but also legal, economic, political, social, and cultural institutions. Based on indication management and control model of European Union, thesis proposed appropriate solutions to develop geographical indication system in Vietnam and recommendation to policymaker in order to improve efficiency of geographical indication management of Vietnam.

Proposals of geographical indication management and control policy not only improve effect of implementation of geographical indication protected but also enhance value of Vietnamese geographical indication products and meet requirements of international market in context of integration.
