10. Summary of thesis results:

The first, The thesis has pointed out that the goal of Chinese online newspapers is to communicate and orient public opinion according to the policies of the Communist Party and serve the core interests of China. With such goals, Chinese online newspapers play the role of a tool to propagate the guidelines and policies of the Communist Party of China.

Monday,The thesis conducts statistics on the number of articles, classifies the content, and compares the frequency of events appearing between articles published on the Internet.People's DailyandHainan Daily, from there, find out the methods of impact of Chinese online newspapers on the East Sea conflict issue including: 1) Number of articles; 2) Content: information, interviews, comments; 3) Event frequency: high-level exchanges, official newspaper sources, other activities.

Tuesday,The thesis has evaluated the impact of Chinese media methods, thereby determining that Chinese online media reporting on the East Sea conflict often violates the objective and honest criteria of journalism, forming false perceptions, inciting negative public reactions and pushing nationalism up in the two countries.

Wednesday,From the research results of two Chinese online newspapers, surveying public opinion, and based on media management and the reality of Vietnamese media, the thesis proposes some suggestive solutions for Vietnamese media in the East Sea conflict issue and gives directions for further research on the East Sea conflict issue.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

First, the Thesis points out the purposes of Chinese online newspapers are to spread information and guide public opinions following Chinese Communist Party's Guidelines and to serve the core interests of China. Therefore, Chinese online newspaper are the means to propagandize for Chinese Communist Party's policies.

Second, the Thesis analyzes the number of articles, categorizes contents, provides comparison of frequency of events written in articles published on People Daily and Hainan Daily, then, investigates the impacts of Chinese online newspapers on South China Sea conflict based on: 1. The number of articles; 2. The contents: information, interviews, comments; 3. Frequency of events: high-level exchanges, official information from newspapers, other activities.

Third, the Thesis evaluates the impacts of Chinese online newspaper by measuring public responses in and out of China, and then comes to the conclusion that Chinese online newspapers often violate journalism ethics of objectivity, honesty when conveying information on South China Sea conflict, which results in misleading opinions, evoking negative public responses, encouraging nationalism which is on the rise in both countries.

Fourth, from results collected by researching two Chinese online newspapers, surveying public responses, communication management and Vietnam communication in practice, the Thesis proposes several solutions for Vietnam communication on South China Sea conflict and provides the direction for prospective research on South China Sea conflict.
