Based on the preferential policies of the Party and State of Vietnam towards those who have rendered meritorious services to the Revolution, and the limitations in implementing preferential policies for wounded and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city, the author has chosen to study this topic."Social benefits for wounded and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city"This research aims to clarify the theoretical framework and propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of implementing preferential policies for wounded and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri district.
The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, and a bibliography. Chapter 1 clarifies the general theory of preferential policies, presenting a conceptual framework as the basis for the subsequent research.
Chapter 2 focuses on clarifying the current situation regarding the implementation of preferential policies for war invalids and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri District, Hanoi City. The author analyzes the current situation through collected data, information, and interviews.
Chapter 3 proposes several solutions for implementing preferential policies for war invalids and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri District, Hanoi City. Considering the preferential of the State and Party for people who had contributed to the Vietnam Revolution and some disadvantages in its implementation for the wounded and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi city, the write decided to choose the topic “Social preferential for the wounded and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri district, Hanoi City” this time. Included in this essay, there will be some reasons and solutions to improve the current situations in implementing the favorable policies to the wounded and sick soldiers in Thanh Tri district.

In the chapter 1, the writer gives general theory and definitions about the preferential which is the basic foundation for further research in the topic.
