The thesis has reviewed documents, outlined the theoretical basis and practical basis of barriers in the leadership and management of female cadres. Analyzed the current situation of female cadres; Basic barriers affecting the leadership and management of female cadres, in which it pointed out that barriers in the policy mechanism lack transparency, gender prejudice, or from the characteristics of women's conditions and capacity... are barriers in the implementation of leadership and management work. The current situation shows that the Party and the State have issued and implemented policies to help remove barriers - the current situation of localities such as Phu Tho has specified in the implementation organization such as: prioritizing recruitment, appointment, planning, retraining, arranging suitable jobs, salary and bonus, working time... However, the implementation of this policy still has certain limitations.
