With three chapters, this thesis analyzes the differences and innovations in the digital television production process; it surveys, analyzes, and evaluates the current state of program production processes at local radio and television stations through surveys of Hai Phong and Lao Cai radio and television stations; it clarifies the innovations, advantages, and limitations that still exist in the program production process and the challenges faced by local radio and television stations when transitioning to digitalization; and it offers recommendations, solutions, and proposals to improve the efficiency of program production processes at local radio and television stations in the digitalization process, in line with the inevitable development trends of television domestically and internationally.

This work serves the author's practical needs at Hai Phong Radio and Television Station after its digitalization on August 15, 2016, and contributes practical experience and research to other local stations in their digitalization journey.
