10. Summary of the thesis results:
- The thesis adheres closely to the theoretical foundations of journalism and provides a theoretical and practical basis, while also analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting the issue related to the thesis. This issue concerns the use of sound in various types of radio programs on VOV1 and VOV2 channels of the Voice of Vietnam.
- Based on the established theoretical framework, this thesis investigates, studies, and analyzes the current state of sound effects in radio programs to understand the role of sound in the work/program, the author's purpose, frequency, volume, location of appearance, and content of sound effects in the work/program. It also examines the audience's reception needs and evaluations of works using sound effects; and clearly identifies the successes, limitations, and causes of limitations in the use of sound effects in modern radio programs.
Based on the theoretical and practical foundations studied, this thesis proposes fundamental solutions and recommendations for media organizations and the public to improve the quality of sound usage in modern radio programs and works, not only for VOV1 and VOV2 channels of the Voice of Vietnam, but also for local radio and broadcasting stations, so that modern broadcasting reflects real life and is closer to a wider audience. Through this, it affirms the position, role, and unique strengths of radio broadcasting within the current system of media.

Practical applications:The research findings have potential applications for students studying broadcasting; and for use in the production of modern radio programs at the Voice of Vietnam, provincial and city radio and television stations; and district and commune-level radio and broadcasting stations nationwide.
