10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis uses descriptive and semantic vocabulary analysis methods to describe the structural and identifying characteristics of words referring to household appliances in Vietnamese and Chinese. Then, the thesis uses the comparative method to find out the similarities and differences of words referring to household appliances in Vietnamese and Chinese. In the process of conducting the survey and analysis, the thesis uses a combination of statistical and classification techniques.

The thesis examines and studies the structural characteristics and naming methods of words referring to household appliances in modern life in Vietnamese and Chinese. The thesis has arranged and classified the words referring to modern household appliances in Vietnamese - Chinese and Chinese - Vietnamese dictionaries according to each naming characteristic such as arbitrary naming, naming according to the formal characteristics of the object, naming according to the method and purpose of operation, naming according to the material characteristics of the object and finally naming according to the region.

Some notes such as a name in Vietnamese but identified by many names in Chinese or vice versa a name in Chinese is also identified by many names in Vietnamese are also mentioned in the thesis to remind foreign language learners and be flexible in usage to avoid confusion.

Finally, the cultural elements of modern household appliance words in Vietnamese and Chinese, through modern household appliance words, we can see the cultural thinking of Vietnamese and Chinese people today.
