Through theory and practice, the topic is "Developing tourism in conjunction with preserving the cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in Lai Chau province.Based on an analysis of tourism development models linked to cultural preservation in countries around the world and in Vietnam, this thesis clarifies the viewpoints, content, methods, and lessons learned in developing tourism associated with the cultural preservation of ethnic minorities. Furthermore, through research into the social customs, living habits, farming practices, and folk culture of the Mong and Lu ethnic groups (representing ethnic minorities in Lai Chau province) and an assessment of the current state of tourism development based on the tourism development model in Sin Suoi Ho village (Mong people - Phong Tho district) and Hon village (Lu people - Tam Duong district), the thesis proposes specific solutions in the following areas: propaganda work, state management, infrastructure investment, resource enhancement, human resource development, market development; and tourism organization, management, and planning. In particular, it has raised issues regarding the need to protect the cultural values ​​of ethnic groups currently living in the province, aiming to develop them into unique, high-quality tourism products to attract tourists... contributing to the successful implementation of the viewpoint and objectives on tourism development associated with the protection of the cultural values ​​of ethnic groups in general and the protection of the cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in particular in Lai Chau province.
