The thesis has presented fully and systematically the birth, operation and suspension of Phong Hoa magazine from 1932 to 1936. At the same time, it clarifies the contributions of the press in general and Phong Hoa magazine in particular to the modernization of Vietnamese culture. During the research process, we delved into specific research on the birth, columns, team of journalists, and the contributions of this newspaper to new cultural forms in Vietnam in the early 20th century. From there, we drew some comments to provide more scientific basis for the contributions of the press to Vietnamese culture during this period.

The thesis is a reference document contributing to clarifying the history of Vietnamese journalism, serving research, study and teaching activities on modern Vietnamese history.

The thesis presents in a comprehensive and systematic way the introduction, development and closing of the Journal Phong Hoa since 1932 to 1936, and also identifies the contributions of the press in general and the journal in particular to the modernization of Vietnamese culture. In our research, we make an in-depth examination of the journal's introduction, columns, reporters and contributions to the new cultural types in Vietnam in the early 20thcentury. On that basis, we draw some remarks to provide more evidence of the journal's contributions to Vietnamese culture in this era.
