Summary of the results of the thesis: The thesis has shown that self-questioning is the inspiration throughout Che Lan Vien's creative journey since the August Revolution of 1945, especially clearly expressed in the Poetry Posthumous Works, the final poetic journey of his life. Through the manifestations of the self-questioning element, we understand more about Che Lan Vien as well as the pain and torment of the poet: A person must sacrifice his true self for the self, for the mission, to the point that sometimes he must take on many faces, even faces that are not his own. We also understand more about the profession of poetry, about the poet's vocation. A poet must endure a lot of mental anguish, hardship, and difficulty, but it is also very glorious. Through that, Che Lan Vien also helps us understand something that seems very simple: poetry must be useful, poetry must not be far from reality. Not only focusing on the content of poetry, Che Lan Vien also attaches great importance to the form of poetry. He clearly expressed his concerns about form, words, tone, and poetic style in his Poetry Posthumous Works. This is also a meaningful practical lesson for poets today and tomorrow. 11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: The thesis shows that self-questioning is the inspiration which shot through the after-August-Revolution period of composing poem of Che Lan Vien, which is especially expressed in Last Collection of Poems, the poem composing period at the end of his life. By his self-questioning expressions, we understand more about Che Lan Vien's characteristics as well as his torment. He sacrificed his ego, his “I” for the “We”, for his task. He had to wear different faces, even the one which is not his. We also understand better about the poem career, and poet's sacred mission. A poet has to overcome much worrisome, hardship but it is glorious. Thanks to that, Che Lan Vien helps us to understand a simple idea: poem should be practical and should not be out of real life. Che Lan Vien not only focuses on the poem's content, but also its form. In Posthumous Poetry, he showed his deep thinking of form, word choice, rythm, poem's types. This is a practical and meaningful lesson for poets of present and future. 12. Practical applicability, if any: None 13.
