Summary of the thesis results: Through the survey of the titles of 194 literary works by three authors Lu Xun, Ba Kim and Lao She and 74 translations into Vietnamese, we found that: the number of syllables in the title ranges from 1 to 10, of which the most is 2 syllables, including 62/194, accounting for 31.96%. In terms of structure, the number of titles belonging to the fixed-center cluster is the largest, accounting for 36.60%; noun clusters account for 32.47%. In terms of naming basis, the number of titles referring to events is the largest, including 73/194, accounting for 37.63%, referring to objects includes 59/194, accounting for 30.42%. In terms of art, metaphorical techniques are skillfully applied. In addition, rhythm, simplicity, “old bottle, new wine”… are all outstanding characteristics of the title of the work. The specific expression in the title of each author has certain differences. Regarding the current status of title translation, the survey results show that 27/74, accounting for 36.49%, apply the phonetic translation method, 47/74, accounting for 63.51% apply the semantic translation method. Regarding translation techniques, the translators have focused on adding, removing words, transforming language and other techniques. In addition to the translations that ensure the standards of trustworthiness, accuracy and elegance. In addition, there are some translations that are far from, or even incorrect compared to, the original. Through analyzing the causes, the thesis has made some recommendations to improve the quality of the translation.

11. Practical applicability: Evaluate the basis of identification, the connection between the title of the work and the content, and contribute to the translation of Chinese titles into Vietnamese.

Further research directions: After completing the thesis, we hope to continue developing the topic to the level of a doctoral thesis, expanding it to comparing the titles of modern Chinese and Vietnamese literary works as well as the issue of translating the titles of Chinese and Vietnamese literary works.

Through surveying the titles of 194 literary works by three authors Lu Xun, Ba Jin and Lao She and 74 titles translated into Vietnamese, we found that the number of syllables in the title shifted from 1 to 10. , of which the most are 2 syllables, including 62/194, accounting for 31.96%. In terms of structure, the number of titles belonging to phrase of adjunct and center word is the most, accounting for 36.60%; noun phrases extracted for 32.47%. On the basis of identifiers, the number of titles indicating events is the highest, including 73/194, accounting for 37.63%, and referring to things, including 59/194, accounting for 30.42%. In terms of art, metaphors are skillfully used. In addition, the rhythm, the rusticity, the simplicity, the "old bottle with new wine"… are all outstanding features of the title of the work. The specific expression in the title of each author has certain differences. Regarding the status of title translation, the survey results showed that 27/74, accounting for 36.49%, applied the negative translation method, 47/74, accounting for 63.51%, applied the meaning translation method. Regarding translation techniques, translators have focused on adding and removing words, transforming words and other tricks. Through analyzing the causes, the thesis has made some recommendations to improve the quality of translation.
