I feel fortunate and proud to have chosen to study and train at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - a university that, 70 years ago, President Ho Chi Minh signed a decree establishing it right after the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
From my time as a student at this university, I have always strived for excellence in my studies and scientific research, as evidenced by my academic achievements and accomplishments in student scientific research activities. In addition, I dedicated time to participating in Youth Union and Student Association activities. At that time, I was also fortunate to be entrusted with key positions in the Youth Union (Member of the Standing Committee of the University's Youth Union, 6th term; Secretary of the Information and Library Science Faculty's Youth Union, 2009-2011 term). It was through these movements and activities that outstanding Youth Union members like myself, who were candidates for Party membership, had the opportunity to contribute, grow, and eventually had the honor of joining the Party while still a student at the University.

The ceremony for admitting young Party member Nguyen Chi Trung at the Information and Library Science Department Party Branch in 2011.
The moment of singing the National Anthem, the Internationale, and taking the oath before the Party flag, the national flag, and the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh during the Party membership ceremony (the first moment for a young Party member) will forever be a sacred memory for each of us. For me, becoming a young Party member at that year's Party membership ceremony can be called a major "turning point" in my life. Because at that time, I truly felt myself becoming more mature, more responsible, and living more responsibly so as not to disappoint the expectations of my family, teachers, and friends.
Becoming a young Party member is a genuine joy, dream, and aspiration for any individual. For students, in my opinion, to become a Party member, in addition to having the right motivation, attitude, good moral character, and pure ideals, students of the University need to have good academic and scientific research achievements, actively participate in Youth Union and Student Association activities, and always be exemplary and leading in all activities/movements of their respective branches.
