The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) announces the enrollment of part-time undergraduate students in the fields of Journalism and Psychology in 2024.

That was the theme of the International Scientific Conference that took place on October 28, 2024 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). The conference was chaired and organized by the Faculty of Philosophy, VNU-USSH, attracting the attention and participation of many scientists from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, universities in Vietnam and many international scholars (China, Thailand, France, Taiwan (China)) with nearly 70 scientific reports sent to attend.

On November 5, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the Faculty of Anthropology will host a talk show introducing the book series “Global Vietnam: Across Time, Space and Community” and how to publish with Springer. The speaker of the sharing session is Ms. Alex Westcott Campbell, Senior Editor of Springer Publishing House.

On October 27, 2024, the Hanoi National University High School Olympiad for Literature and History subjects was successfully held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University (VNU-USSH). Notably, this is the third consecutive year that VNU-USSH has successfully hosted and organized this exam.

On October 26, 2024, in the solemn and warm space of the 8th floor Hall of Building E, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to more than 300 Bachelors. This is the third degree awarding ceremony organized by the University in 2024.

On October 23, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Library Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the closing ceremony of the training course on Application of bibliometric analysis in analyzing course articles, making an overview, aiming at international publication.

On October 23, 2024, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a working session with Mr. Le Duc Thien, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on strengthening cooperation in the coming time.

On October 18, 2024, the International Conference on Knowledge Management: Leadership and Innovation, ICKM2024, took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The conference was co-organized by the Faculty of Library and Information, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi (VNU-USS), the Faculty of Library and Information, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM City and the Southern University Library Association. The ICKM2024 conference is within the framework of cooperation to enhance scientific research activities between the two universities of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On October 16, 2024, right at the Hall on the 8th floor of Building E, lecturers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities enjoyed the movie "Doi Cat" - one of the outstanding works of Vietnamese cinema and listened to the sharing on the topic "Women in post-war films". The activity was organized by the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in coordination with the Department of Art Studies, Faculty of Literature.

That is the goal of the series of skills training for all students of courses K66, K67, K68 and K69 on October 16, 18, 23, 25, 2025 organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). This is one of the activities to improve students' understanding and sense of responsibility for fire prevention and fighting activities and master some basic skills to respond to fire and explosion situations.
