On November 5, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University) chaired a meeting and cooperation exchange with a delegation from Gdansk University (Poland) led by Professor Piotr Stepnowski (Rector).

On the morning of November 4th, Professor Gary Mariano (former Head of the Communication Department, De La Salle University, Philippines) gave a presentation on the topic "Policies for Managing and Utilizing AI in Newsrooms in the Philippines and Suggestions for Vietnam" at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The seminar was also attended by many experts, journalists, and media managers in Vietnam, along with numerous lecturers, students, and doctoral candidates from the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training.

On November 2-3, 2024, the 2024 Training Conference of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi (VNU-USSH) was held with the participation of representatives from the leadership of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the university's leadership, and leaders and specialists in charge of training at the training units and functional departments/centers of the university.

A consultation meeting to gather feedback on the Circular promulgating the Digital Competency Framework for Learners in the National Education System, chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) on the morning of November 1, 2024.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) announces the enrollment for part-time undergraduate programs in Journalism and Psychology for the year 2024.

This was the theme of the International Scientific Conference held on October 28, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). Organized by the Faculty of Philosophy, VNU-USSH, the conference attracted the attention and participation of numerous scientists from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, other universities in Vietnam, and many international scholars (from China, Thailand, France, and Taiwan (China)), with nearly 70 scientific papers submitted.

On November 5th, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the Faculty of Anthropology will host a talk show introducing the book series “Global Vietnam: Across Time, Space and Community” and how to publish it with Springer. The speaker will be Ms. Alex Westcott Campbell, Senior Editor at Springer Publishing House.

On October 27, 2024, the Hanoi National University High School Literature and History Olympiad was successfully held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University (VNU-USSH). Notably, this marks the third consecutive year that VNU-USSH has successfully hosted and organized this competition.

On October 26, 2024, in the solemn and warm atmosphere of the Auditorium on the 8th floor of Building E, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to over 300 Bachelor's degree holders. This was the third graduation ceremony organized by the University in 2024.

On October 23, 2024, the Faculty of Information and Library Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the closing ceremony for the training course on applying bibliometric analysis in analyzing academic articles, providing a review, and aiming for international publication.

On October 23, 2024, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), held a meeting with Mr. Le Duc Thien, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss strengthening cooperation in the future.
