10. Summary of thesis results:

The author has studied the theories of Science and Technology (S&T) human resources, S&T activities, S&T policies, organization of activities, projects... as well as the current status of human resource management, operational structure, exploitation of the aviation industry in general and at Cambodia Angkor Air in particular. From there, the author has analyzed and identified the difficulties and limitations in improving the efficiency of exploitation, management as well as service quality and proposed solutions to overcome the difficulties pointed out.

The difficulties and limitations in management, exploitation and operation at the Company have been pointed out to be due to the fact that basic standard processes have not received proper investment attention, the working environment and current management mechanism are still formal and relatively rigid in some stages... Therefore, the author proposes a solution to overcome the difficulties and limitations by applying ISO standards to manage quality, improve exploitation and service efficiency according to international standards as an effective solution.

ISO 9001 is a quality management system with global standards that has been effectively applied by many agencies, organizations, and businesses, including aviation businesses, so this topic is completely feasible. If applied, the topic can be an important factor for Cambodia Airlines to successfully implement its strategies in terms of commerce, operations, and financial management.

The author has indicated the theory and information about challenges, projects, human resources, activities and other policies of Science and Technology in his project... Besides, he studied the actual situations of the studying object (Cambodia Angkor Air) On that basis, the author has analyzed, identified the obstacles, limitations of the airline operations and proposed the solutions to overcome those challenges.

The obstacles and limitations of the airline are including both the objective and subjective reasons. In which, some of the major challenges are the issues of the airline resources, lack of standard operation procedures, the working environment, the infrastructures for science and technology human resources, the management of administrative personnel, subsidies... compose, the authors propose the resolution by the project “Implementation of ISO 9001-2015 quality management standard in commercial airline operations (Case study: Cambodia Angkor Air)”.
