10. Summary of thesis results:

The fact that the press and mass media (MMC) play an important role in shaping the personality and lifestyle of students in particular and young people in general is not a strange issue. There have been many documents in the world mentioning the influence of MMC on the behavior of children and young people. In Vietnam, with the birth of 105 electronic newspapers and magazines, a large and diverse information environment has been created for young people.

Not only playing the role of providing useful information, electronic newspapers in Vietnam also play the role of guiding public opinion, guiding awareness, behavior and lifestyle for young people. However, electronic newspapers have not really fulfilled their role well. Due to pressure from revenue, some electronic newspapers have "recklessly" published dishonest and cheap information, focusing too deeply on the incident, unintentionally creating a negative reaction in the public. At the same time, this type of information is repeated too many times, in the long run, it has had a negative impact on the lifestyle of today's youth.

With the research topic "The impact of electronic newspapers on the lifestyle of Vietnamese youth today", in Chapter 1, the thesis presented the theoretical basis and overview of electronic newspapers in Vietnam. In particular, the thesis focused on introducing some concepts and tools related to the thesis such as: electronic newspapers, lifestyle and youth; introducing theoretical perspectives in the study of the impact of electronic newspapers on the lifestyle of Vietnamese youth today; overviewing the formation and development process of electronic newspapers in Vietnam.

In Chapter 2, to highlight the issues raised by the topic, the thesis focused on studying the current status of the influence of electronic newspapers on the lifestyle of young people today. In particular, the thesis introduced the electronic newspapers in the survey such as: VnExpress, Dan Tri, Vietnamnet, Tuoi Tre Online, Thanh Nien Online to clarify the purpose of using electronic newspapers of young people; the places and means that young people often use to access electronic newspapers; the time that young people access electronic newspapers. From there, the thesis identified and evaluated the impact of electronic newspapers on the way of accessing information, the way of expressing oneself, the way of studying, the way of entertaining and the daily living habits of young people. This is the foundation for the thesis to evaluate the positive and negative impacts of electronic newspapers on the lifestyle of young people.

Chapter 3 is the chapter in which the author of the thesis has raised the development trends of electronic newspapers in the future and solutions to promote the positive role of electronic newspapers in the lifestyle of today's youth. In this chapter, the thesis has raised the views of the Party and the State on promoting the role of electronic newspapers in building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in general, and young people in particular. Finally, the thesis has proposed solutions to promote the positive role of electronic newspapers in building the lifestyle of today's youth such as: solutions to raise awareness of users; solutions to improve policy mechanisms, improve the effectiveness of State management of communications in general and electronic newspapers in particular; solutions to coordinate between families, schools and society; solutions on resources as well as solutions for press agencies.

11. Practical application:

With this topic, the thesis contributes to clarifying some advantages and limitations of electronic newspapers in providing directional information, affecting the public in general and the youth in particular. This contributes to creating a basis for further in-depth studies on the influence of electronic newspapers on the lifestyle of Vietnamese youth, the future "owners" of the country; the thesis also contributes more useful information sources for researchers, press management agencies and readers interested in the influence of electronic newspapers on the lifestyle of Vietnamese youth.

Continue to conduct more comprehensive research on the influences and impacts of electronic newspapers on Vietnamese youth in particular and the public in general.

10. The summary of the thesis:

The press and media (mass communications) play a significant role in forming personality, lifestyle of pupils – students in particular and young people in general are not unfamiliar issues. There are a lot of documents mentioning the influence of mass media on the behavior of children and the young in the world. In Vietnam, with the number of 105 electronic newspapers and magazines have created multiple and diverse information environment for the young.

Not only serves as a provider of useful information, electronic newspapers in Vietnam serves as orientation of public opinion, awareness, behaviors and lifestyles orientation for the young. However, the electronic media has not really done its best role. Due to pressure from incomings, some media have been "defying" given the lack of honest information and cheap, accidentally creating the offensive to the public. Moreover, the information format is repeated too many times negatively affecting the lifestyle of the young.

With the research project "The effects of electronic journal on Vietnamese young people's lifestyles nowadays.", in the first chapter, the thesis has presented the rationale and overview of electronic newspapers in Vietnam. The thesis has also focused on introducing some concepts related instruments essays such as electronic newspapers, lifestyle and the young; introducing theoretical perspective in the study of the impact of electronic media on Vietnamese young people's lifestyles nowadays; an overview of formation and development process of electronic media in Vietnam.

To Chapter II, to emphasize the issues above, the essay focuses on researching the influence of electronic media on the lifestyle of the young. In particular, the thesis has also surveyed some electronic newspapers such as: VnExpress, Dan Tri,Vietnamnet, Tuoitre Online, Thanhnien Online to clarify the purpose of using electronic media of the young; location, time and means that they often use to access the electronic media. From there, the essay given to comment and assess how electronic media has an effect on accessing information, presenting themselves, studying, entertainment and their habits. This is the background to evaluate how electronic media has positive and negative impact for young people's lifestyles.

In the Chapter III, the author has raised growing trend of electronic media in the future and promote solutions that will help electronic media have a positive effect for the young people's lifestyle. In this chapter, the writer points out the views of the Party and the State to promote the role of electronic media in the construction and development of culture, and humanity in general and the youth in particular. Finally, the thesis has proposed measures to promote the positive role of electronic media in building young people's lifestyles today such as: solutions to raise awareness of the users; solutions on amending mechanisms and policies, improving the efficiency of the State management for communications in general and electronic media in particular; solutions coordination among family, school and society; resource solutions as well as solutions for media agencies.
