10. Summary of the thesis results:
The significant role played by the press and mass media in shaping the personalities and lifestyles of students in particular, and young people in general, is not a new issue. Many studies worldwide have already addressed the influence of mass media on the behavior of children and young people. In Vietnam, the emergence of 105 online newspapers and magazines has created a vast and diverse information environment for young people.
Online newspapers in Vietnam not only serve as a source of useful information but also play a role in shaping public opinion, influencing the awareness, behavior, and lifestyles of young people. However, online newspapers have not yet fully fulfilled this role. Due to pressure from revenue, some online newspapers have recklessly published dishonest, cheap information, focusing too heavily on events, inadvertently creating a negative impression on the public. Furthermore, the repetition of such information over time has had a significant negative impact on the lifestyles of today's youth.
With the research topic "The Influence of Online Newspapers on the Lifestyle of Vietnamese Youth Today," Chapter 1 of this thesis presents the theoretical foundations and an overview of online newspapers in Vietnam. Specifically, the thesis focuses on introducing several key concepts related to the topic, such as: online newspapers, lifestyle, and youth; presenting theoretical perspectives on the impact of online newspapers on the lifestyle of Vietnamese youth today; and providing an overview of the formation and development of online newspapers in Vietnam.
Chapter 2, to highlight the issues raised by the topic, focuses on researching the current impact of online newspapers on the lifestyles of young people. Specifically, the thesis introduces the online newspapers included in the survey, such as VnExpress, Dan Tri, Vietnamnet, Tuoi Tre Online, and Thanh Nien Online, to clarify the purposes for which young people use online newspapers; the locations and means they commonly use to access online newspapers; and the time they spend accessing online newspapers. From this, the thesis identifies and assesses the impact of online newspapers on how young people access information, express themselves, learn, entertain, and live their daily lives. This forms the basis for evaluating the positive and negative impacts of online newspapers on the lifestyles of young people.
Chapter 3 outlines the future development trends of online journalism and solutions to enhance its positive role in shaping the lifestyles of young people today. This chapter presents the views of the Party and State on promoting the role of online journalism in building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in general, and young people in particular. Finally, the thesis proposes solutions to enhance the positive role of online journalism in shaping the lifestyles of young people today, such as: solutions to raise user awareness; solutions to improve policy mechanisms and enhance the effectiveness of state management of media in general and online journalism in particular; solutions for coordination between families, schools, and society; solutions regarding resources; and solutions for media organizations.
11. Practical applications:
This thesis contributes to clarifying some of the advantages and limitations of online newspapers in providing information that is directional and influential to the general public and young people in particular. This helps to lay the groundwork for further research on the influence of online newspapers on the lifestyles of Vietnamese youth, the future "owners" of the country; the thesis also provides useful information for researchers, press management agencies, and readers interested in the influence of online newspapers on the lifestyles of Vietnamese youth.
12. Future research directions:
Further, more comprehensive research is needed on the influences and impacts of online newspapers on Vietnamese youth in particular and the public in general.

10. The summary of the thesis:
The press and media (mass communications) play a significant role in forming personality, lifestyle of pupils – students in particular and young people in general are not unfamiliar issues. There are a lot of documents mentioning the influence of mass media on the behavior of children and the young in the world. In Vietnam, with the number of 105 electronic newspapers and magazines have created multiple and diverse information environment for the young.
Not only serves as a provider of useful information, electronic newspapers in Vietnam serves as orientation of public opinion, awareness, behaviors and lifestyles orientation for the young. However, the electronic media has not really done its best role. Due to pressure from incomings, some media have been "defying" given the lack of honest information and cheap, accidentally creating the offensive to the public. Moreover, the information format is repeated too many times negatively affecting the lifestyle of the young.
With the research project "The effects of electronic journals on Vietnamese young people's lifestyles nowadays.", in the first chapter, the thesis has presented the rationale and overview of electronic newspapers in Vietnam. The thesis has also focused on introducing some concepts related instruments essays such as electronic newspapers, lifestyle and the young; introducing theoretical perspective in the study of the impact of electronic media on Vietnamese young people's lifestyles nowadays; an overview of formation and development process of electronic media in Vietnam.
To Chapter II, to emphasize the issues above, the essay focuses on researching the influence of electronic media on the lifestyle of the young. In particular, the thesis has also surveyed some electronic newspapers such as: VnExpress, Dan Tri,Vietnamnet, Tuoitre Online, Thanhnien Online to clarify the purpose of using electronic media of the young; location, time and means that they often use to access the electronic media. From there, the essay given to comment and assess how electronic media has an effect on accessing information, presenting themselves, studying, entertainment and their habits. This is the background to evaluate how electronic media has positive and negative impact for young people's lifestyles.
In the Chapter III, the author has raised growing trend of electronic media in the future and promote solutions that will help electronic media have a positive effect for the young people's lifestyle. In this chapter, the writer points out the views of the Party and the State to promote the role of electronic media in the construction and development of culture, and humanity in general and the youth in particular. Finally, the thesis has proposed measures to promote the positive role of electronic media in building young people's lifestyles today such as: solutions to raise awareness of the users; solutions on amending mechanisms and policies, improving the efficiency of the State management for communications in general and electronic media in particular; solutions coordination among family, school and society; resource solutions as well as solutions for media agencies.

With this topic, the thesis takes part in clarifying some of the advantages and limitations of the electronic media in providing oriented information, affecting the public in general and the young in particular. This contributes to creating the basis for further research on the effects of electronic newspaper on Vietnamese young people's lifestyle, the "future owner" of the country; thesis also contributes useful information source for researchers, media authorities and readers who concerned about the impact of electronic media on Vietnamese young people's lifestyles.
