10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis systematically presents the economic and social transformation process of Bat Trang pottery village from 1986 to 2016, comparing it with the period before 1986. To recreate the history of formation, development, and economic and social changes of Bat Trang pottery village from 1986 to 2016, the thesis systematizes the policies and guidelines of the Vietnamese Party and State, the policies of Hanoi City, Gia Lam District, and Bat Trang Commune regarding the development of traditional craft villages and management; it also presents the economic development situation, changes in the organization of pottery production and trade, and social changes of Bat Trang pottery village from 1986 to 2015.

Based on that, the thesis provides an assessment of the economic and social changes in Bat Trang pottery village from 1986 to 2016. It proposes some measures for the future development of Bat Trang pottery village.

This thesis serves as a reference document on Bat Trang pottery village and contributes to providing a scientific and practical basis for policy planning to develop Bat Trang craft village in the future.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

This MA thesis seeks to address the social and economic changes of the Bat Trang ceramic village from 1986 to 2016. The purpose of the thesis also reappraises the formation, development and the changes of this village during history. From 198 to 2016, the MA thesis highlights the guidelines and the policies of the Vietnamese Communist Party, the state government as well as Hanoi, Gia Lam and Bat Trang authorities in the development of traditional trade villages, changes of production structure, ceramics trading and social changes of the Bat Trang ceramic village. In doing so, we provide some comments on Bat Trang's economic and social changes and some of solutions in order to develop Bat Trang's economy in the future.

The MA thesis can be used as reference materials for readers who want to study about Bat Trang ceramic village. It is also practical basis for administrators to form suitable policies in expanding Bat Trang.
