This thesis analyzes the current situation and the role of media relations in building and promoting the image of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU). From this, it evaluates the effectiveness of this work in the past and proposes solutions to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of promoting VNU's image in the media in the future, contributing to enhancing VNU's prestige and position domestically and internationally.

11. Practical applications:

This thesis serves as a theoretical reference document for research and training institutions in journalism and communication. It contributes a further perspective on the role of communication, image building, and promotion in agencies, organizations, and businesses; and simultaneously presents the current situation and proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of this work in agencies, organizations, and businesses in general, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi in particular.

In practical terms, the research findings of this thesis provide a basis for those directly working in the field of communication, especially managers, to guide the training, enhancement of capabilities, and awareness of their communication and image-building teams.
