The thesis has researched and clarified three main contents: (i) Overview of the history of the formation of the Vietnamese community in CPC; (ii) Current status of political, economic and socio-cultural life of the Vietnamese community in CPC; (iii) Some policy suggestions for Vietnam to enhance the position of the Vietnamese community in CPC.
Based on an overview of the history of the formation of the Vietnamese community in Cambodia from the feudal period to the present, the thesis has focused on studying the current situation of Vietnamese people in Cambodia of Vietnamese origin in all fields such as politics, economics, culture - society, the advantages and difficulties both subjective and objective affecting the status and life of the Community. From those advantages and difficulties, the thesis has also proposed a number of solutions to enhance the position and improve the life of Vietnamese people in Cambodia.
There have been a number of works and articles researching the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship in general and the Vietnamese community in Cambodia in particular. However, there has not been any comprehensive research on this issue. This thesis has collected and selectively absorbed the above research results, at the same time supplementing and clarifying issues that have not been mentioned or mentioned but not in depth in order to highlight the difficulties that the Vietnamese community in Cambodia has, is and will have to face, thereby proposing a number of solutions to improve the above situation. The research results are of profound theoretical and practical significance.
11. Practical application:
The thesis contributes to providing some policy suggestions to enhance the position of the Vietnamese community in Cambodia in the social life of Cambodia in general and to resolve one of the inherent problems in the Vietnam - Cambodia relationship in particular.

Based on the history of the formation of the Vietnamese community in Cambodia from the feudal time to the present, the thesis has focused on the current situation of Vietnamese people in Cambodia in all fields of politics and economics, social culture, advantages and disadvantages both subjective and objective impact on the status and life of the community. From the advantages and disadvantages, the thesis also proposed some solutions to enhance the status, improve the lives of Vietnamese in Cambodia.
There are a number of works, research articles on Cambodia - Vietnam relations in general and Vietnamese community in Cambodia in particular. However, there is no comprehensive research on this subject. The thesis has selected and absorbed the results of the research, and at the same time added to clarify issues not mentioned or mentioned but not deep to highlight the difficulties that Vietnamese people in Cambodia have been, will and will face, thereby suggesting some solutions to improve the situation. The results of the research are very theoretical and practical.
