10. Summary of the thesis results:
After five years (2013-2018) of implementing the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Chinese loans have become a burden for many participating countries. Some countries even risk default and have to use national resources and assets to repay China. Many assessments suggest that the BRI has entered a distorted phase that even China could not have foreseen, or that it is a clear debt trap policy that was premeditated from the very beginning of the initiative. Therefore, China's debt policy has certain impacts on countries around the world and in the region. In addition, it has a strong impact on Vietnam, especially on Vietnam's economic development and defense policies. Although many studies have pointed out China's "debt trap," there is not much literature addressing the "debt trap policy" within China's BRI. The thesis, titled "Debt Trap Policy in China's Belt and Road Initiative (2013-2018)," aims to clarify China's debt borrowing strategies, provide a comprehensive view of China's "debt traps" for countries in the region and around the world, and propose some lessons and implications for Vietnam in its cooperation with China to develop the economy and improve the country's infrastructure. Throughout the thesis, the student approached the topic from multiple perspectives, drawing on relevant sources from various domestic and international authors to present clear arguments and assess China's "debt trap policy" from various angles.
11. Practical applications: The results of this thesis can serve as a valuable reference document for research on Vietnam-China economic relations, offering advice, recommendations, and proposals for Vietnam in its relationship with China. The data on borrowing by various countries from China provides valuable lessons for Vietnam to avoid falling into China's "debt traps."
12. Future Research Directions: Following the results of this thesis, further research and evaluation of China's debt trap policy from 2018 to the present could be conducted. However, China's implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a long-term strategy; therefore, the policies China implements surrounding the BRI are always a matter of international concern. From this, research on the BRI can be approached from various angles, not solely focusing on debt trap policy.
13. Published research works related to the thesis: None.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
After 5 years implementing (2013-2018) the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Chinese loans have become a burden on many countries participating in the BRI, some even having the risk of insolvency and resorting to national interests and resources in return for China. Many reviews said that the BRI entered a period of metamorphosis that China could not have expected or that it was a clear debt-trap policy that had been planned since China launched this initiative. Therefore, the Chinese implementation of its debt policy has certain impacts on countries in the world and the region. Besides, it has strong impacts on Vietnam, especially on Vietnam's economic and defense development policies. Although there have been many studies showing the "debt trap" of China, but there are not many documents mentioning "debt trap policy" in the BRI of China. The implementation of the topic "Debt trap policy in China's Belt-Road Initiative (2013-2018)" is aimed at clarifying China's debt strategies that are being implemented. A comprehensive view of China's "debt traps" for countries in the region and around the world, naturally suggests some lessons and implications for Vietnam in the process of cooperation with China to economic development, improving the capacity of the country's infrastructure system. During the process of implementing the thesis, students have approached the topic in a multidimensional way through many relevant sources of many domestic and foreign authors to make clear arguments, arguments, and assessment. topic "debt trap policy" of China in many different aspects.
12. Practical applicability, if any: The results of the thesis can be a good reference document, serving the research on economic relations between Vietnam and China, giving some advice, recommendations and suggestions to Vietnam. in relations with China. The data on other countries' debt to China are experiences for Vietnam to avoid getting caught in China's "debt traps".
13. Further research directions, if any: Following the results of the thesis, it is possible to continue to conduct research and evaluate topics on China's debt trap policy in the 2018-present period. However, China's implementation of the BRI is a long-term strategy, so the policies that China implements around the BRI have always been an issue of concern to the international community. From there, it is possible to approach research on BRI in many different directions, not just focusing on debt trap policy.
