10. Summary of the thesis results:

Based on a survey and analysis of the current situation regarding the editing and removal of published articles on Vietnamese online newspapers from a journalistic ethics perspective, this thesis proposes several solutions to limit and overcome this phenomenon. Chapter 1 clarifies the characteristics of online newspapers, one of which is the ease of editing and removing content, and then analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of this characteristic; Chapter 2 analyzes the current situation and causes of the editing and removal of published articles on Vietnamese online newspapers from a journalistic ethics perspective; Chapter 3 proposes solutions to limit and overcome the disadvantages of this issue.

11. Practical applications:

This work provides insight into a phenomenon arising in the practical development of Vietnamese journalism in general and Vietnamese online journalism in particular; it offers assessments, recommendations, and solutions to limit the editing and removal of published articles that violate journalistic ethics on Vietnamese online newspapers, helping journalists, media leaders, and media management agencies to refer to, consider, and find appropriate solutions to the emerging issues of modern journalism, including online journalism.

12. Future research directions:

- Continue researching the challenges related to the flexibility, ease of editing, and removal of content in online newspapers in relation to journalistic ethics in the context of today's developing information technology.

- Conduct in-depth research into the practices and experiences of international journalism in general, and online journalism in particular, regarding the editing and removal of articles from online news sites, from a journalistic ethics perspective. Based on this, provide lessons and recommendations for Vietnamese journalism.

10. Summary of new findings of the thesis:

Based on the survey and analysis about the current situation of the editing and removing articles published on Vietnamese online newspapers from the perspective of journalism ethics, a number of solutions have been proposed in the thesis with a view to lessening and dealing with this situation. Also, the study provides an insight into the characteristics of online newspapers, one of which is easy to edit and remove, as well as the analysis of pros and cons of this feature. Moreover, the examination of the current situation and the causes of the issue as the recommendations are presented in this thesis.

11. Applicability in practice:

The study investigates on an emerging phenomenon in the practice and development of Vietnamese press in general and Vietnamese electronic newspaper in particular. Furthermore, evaluations, recommendations, and solutions are brought up to lessen the editing and removal of unethical journalism on Vietnamese online newspapers in the hope of being of great assistance to journalists, heads and authorities of newspapers in the consultation and consideration on the appropriate solutions for arising issues in the practice of the modern press, including online newspapers.

12. Future research directions:

- Continuing the research on the challenges related to the characteristics of being flexible, easy to edit and remove of online newspapers from the perspective of journalism ethics in the context of speedy information technology,

- Making a further investigation into the reality, experience and handling of general international press and particular online newspapers in the editing and removing published articles on online newspapers from the perspective of journalism ethics with a view to providing the experiences and recommendations for Vietnamese press.
