10. Summary of the thesis results:

Adhering closely to the research topic, and drawing upon the theoretical foundations of journalism studies, this thesis has analyzed, synthesized, and developed a theoretical framework related to the research problem: the relationship and role of television programs for ethnic minorities in general and the Thai ethnic group in particular.

Based on the theoretical framework in Chapter 1, this thesis conducts research, analysis, and evaluation of the current state of Thai-language television programs through a survey of Thai-language television programs on Dien Bien Television Station, Son La Television Station, and VTV5 channel. From this, the author assesses the advantages and disadvantages of Thai-language television programs on each station. It can be affirmed that Thai-language television programs currently play a very important role for the people. However, in practice, Thai-language television programs on Dien Bien Television Station, Son La Television Station, and VTV5 channel still have many limitations, meaning the program quality does not fully satisfy the increasingly high demands of the television audience. These limitations will be a major reason for the reduced attractiveness of the programs to viewers.

Based on the research findings regarding the advantages and limitations of Thai-language television programs, the author has proposed general solutions and specific solutions for each station to improve the quality of Thai-language television programs for the Thai community today.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings have potential applications in Dien Bien Television Station, Son La Television Station, and VTV5 channel to improve and enhance the quality of Thai-language television programs in the future.

12. Future research directions:

Based on the results of this study, further research can be conducted to improve the quality of other Thai-language television programs throughout the country.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Following the content of the research topic, from the basis of journalism theory, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized and constructed the theoretical basis related to the research problem. That is the relationship and the role of TV programs for ethnic minorities in general and Thai ethnic in particular.

On the basis of the argument in chapter 1, the thesis has conducted researches, analyzed and evaluated the current situation of Thai television programs through the survey of Thai TV programs of Dien Bien Radio and Television Station, Son La Radio and Television Station, VTV5 channel.

From then, the author evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of Thai TV programs on each station. It can be said that the current Thai television programs play a very important role for the people. However, in practice, the Thai language broadcasting programs of Dien Bien Radio and Television Station, Son La Radio and Television Station, VTV5 channel are still limited, so the quality of the programs has not satisfied the increasingly high demand of the public. These restrictions will greatly reduce the appeal of the programs to the audience.

From the results of the study about programs advantages and limitations of Thai language television, the author has proposed common and particular solutions for each station to improve the quality of Thai language television programs for Thai compatriots today.

Master thesis can be applied in Dien Bien television, Son La television and VTV5 television.

12. Further research directions, if any:

From the research findings, can deploy the next research directions for each local television station to improve the quality of Thai language TV broadcast program, thereby, enhancing competing capability in the current context.
